Better Life Program for the African Rural Women, Partner of the exceptional session of the African Women's Forum to be held in Brussels

 

The Crans Montana Forum is pleased to welcome Better Life Program for the African Rural Women as Partner of the forthcoming session of the African Women's Forum, which will take place in Brussels on November 14 to 16, 2019.

Mrs. Aisha Babangida, Chairperson of the Organisation, will attend to share her vision and experiences in the framework of the session to be held on Saturday November 16 : “Promoting Rural Women in Africa : implementing a fair and sustainable agriculture”.

Better Life Program for the African Rural Woman is a non-profit Organisation founded in 1987. Our vision is to see an emergence of a well-informed, economically and socio-politically empowered African woman participating effectively in the process of national development and the promotion of family values.

Promoting Rural Women in Africa: major topic of the forthcoming African Women's Forum in Brussels

 

On the occasion of the session of the African Women’s Forum, to be held in Brussels (Belgium) on November 14 to 16, 2019, a Special Programme will be dedicated to the recognition of rural Women in Africa and their strategic role to address the challenges of the development of the agri-food sector on the Continent.

 

On Saturday November 16, this half-day programme will notably focus on the Fair and sustainable Agriculture, Food security and the Empowerment of rural Women in Africa, with the active participation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
