Our World is threatened by multiple mutations resulting in terrorist attacks, directly linked to radicalisation and extremist developments.
Women are major victims of persecutions and acts of terrorist violence. However, some Women are sometimes associated to this threat after a process that our society seems unable to prevent.
On the occasion of its Homeland and Global Security Forum, to be held in Brussels, on October 19 to 22, 2016, the Crans Montana Forum organises, a Special day of exchanges and reflexion, under the aegis of the African Women’s Forum, whose Honorary Committee is chaired by Mrs. Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO.
Women Heads of State and Government, Ministers, Ambassadors, Parliamentarians, Businesswomen, Activists, Heads of Organisations coming from all over the World are invited to address the role of Women in the fight against radicalisation and terrorism.
This exceptional event will symbolically take place in the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels, on October 19.
